3rd International Conference on Eco-Friendly Flame Retardant Additives and Materials
IMT Mines Alès, University of Montpellier, Engineering School of Chemistry of Montpellier (ENSCM) and Société Chimique de France (SCF) are pleased to announce that the Third International Conference on Eco-Friendly Flame Retardant Additives and Materials (ECOFRAM) will take place in Alès, on the 17th and 18th May 2022.
Over the two days, the conference will be devoted to the state of the art as well as the last developments of fundamental and applied research concerning eco-friendly flame retardant additives and materials.
On Monday 16th May, a series of courses and practical demonstrations will be proposed in conjunction with ECOFRAM conference. These courses are intended for students, academics and/or industrials interested in expand their knowledge about the fire behaviour of materials. They include the following topics:
Basics of fire
Main families of fire retardants
Main parameters to study polymers fire reaction
Specificity of biobased materials fire behaviour
Learning using gas analysis by different coupling methods
Free courses, a small fee of 20 euros for the lunch is requested. Inscription is needed for organization purpose. The number of places is limited.
Biobased and biodegradable FR polymers and composites
Global approach: recycling, ageing, end of life, circular economy
Toxicity and environmental issues
Fire safety regulation and ecological issues
